Experience Highlights

As a user-interface designer with The Boeing Company (via Volt Services), is charged with design supporting Communications with numerous high touch internal and external customer-facing websites.
 

  • Provided user interface and design support for the Boeing Management System (BMS) web application to visualize key metrics for Executives across the enterprise to better understand and execute company performance.
     

  • Designed UX/UI for Commercial Aviation Services’ high profile “MyBoeingFleet” customer-facing site—accessible to any client upon purchase of a new plane, and providing comprehensive fleet management services. This marked the first time CAS had had access to a designer (only developers previously), thereby greatly enhancing aesthetics, user experience, and branding possibilities.
     

  • Built an executive communications microsite to provide a dynamic portal for labor negotiations messaging — a high visibility effort that has required working alongside key executives as negotiations progress. Recognized with High Honors Award from Boeing Communications Excellence program (one of only two awarded to Creative Services in 2015).
     

  • Designed an internal employee communications site for Commercial Airplanes President/CEO to provide a vehicle for executive messaging across the organization, and also designed five similar sites for VPs.

 

Earlier experience in the Graphic Designer capacity at Boeing via Volt Services (2005-2008) involved numerous large graphic, industrial/environmental design projects and internal marketing/PR efforts requiring creative signage and collateral.
 

  • Largest and highest profile project was “Future Factory” initiative in Everett. Company was in process of a massive plant and office facilities facelift/modernization involving incorporation of natural light via giant skylights, and extensive remodeling of offices and common areas. Art-directed 3D renderings of BCA products, successfully creating high quality large format prints at 1/3 cost of prior attempts—enabling wider distribution and placement in employee areas. Successfully outfitted the remodeled Everett Delivery Center with dramatic product illustrations.
     

As an Account Manager with Matheson Media Corporation, an advertising and design agency for small aircraft service and maintenance— was responsible for acquiring new business and developing/cultivating new client relationships. Created proposals per client project requirements, assisted with design, updated numerous print collateral projects, and worked alongside Creative Director to ensure ongoing quality. Exceeded all new business growth objectives.
 

As a with Graphic Designer with Visual Ventures, a marketing and branding firm specializing in medical device and scientific discovery clients, designed trade magazine advertisements, direct mail campaigns and trade show display graphics for customers.
